Chickens and quail?

Ok so I know that chickens and quail should not be kept together but what about this.
This is my pen.

I want to put a pair or trio of New Hampshire reds in the front part. The quail will stay were they are. If I was to buy the chickens as day old chicks from ideal and raised them up couldn't I put them in there?

So if you "already know", why would you think there would be an exception? This member didn't even have his cages close to each other. I'll put it to you like this: If it were you catching Coryza, would you do it? Because, if you're not willing to accept the risk for yourself, why should you chance a risk for your quail?
I'll see everyone next year when my suspension is over.
