Chickens and Secondary Water

I have a secondary water hookup that I use for irrigating my garden. It comes from the reservoirs with minimal filtering -- just enough to keep the pipes from getting clogged. Is there any problem giving this to my hens? Will it affect eggs at all?

If it waters your garden it's good enough for the cluckers.

as long as it is good for you to drink
if so no problem
but if not I would not eat the eggs

If you wouldn't mind drinking it, it's fine. If you wouldn't drink it even after you had come out of a week in the desert with NOTHING... it's not.
