chickens and turkeys together

Can I keep chickens and turkeys together? (not in the same pen but the pen will be 50 or 100 feet away). I know chickens can have blackheads that kill turkeys. Do all chickens have blackheads?

It will be fine. Not all areas and chickens have blackhead. It is not airborne so if they are in pens 100' apart then you have nothing to worry about.

but what if I let the chickens freerange a little? Would I be able to let both the chickens and turkeys freerange at different times? I'm thinking about getting 15ish wild turkeys

Turkeys can get blackhead from eating earthworms, too.
