Should I treat my sick meat turkey with flagyl?

I live in a region where the blackhead is terrible. Every time I try to raise turkeys they get it. I thought this time my broad breasted whites raised for the market turkey fair project were getting away scot-free. They've been healthy. I've kept them away from the chickens and I haven't lost a single one. Unfortunately this morning one has been looking lethargic and isn't eating. I have Flagyl on hand but it's a banned for food producing animals. The fair is a month away. Should I treat them and hope the withdrawal is long enough before slaughter? Should I just treat her and tag her to not be sold and hope the others don't get sick? Then I could eat the potentially contaminated one. Should I just let her die? I think that will happen if I don't treat her.

I would probably treat just the sick one and not sell it. Are you in 4H or FFA?

I found this study, and if I am reading it correctly, it states that after an oral dosage of 25 mg/kg for seven consecutive days, residue was detected in the liver, kidney, and muscle tissue of broilers at day 14.

My younger brothers are in 4-H so it's technically their birds. I just went out and treated her and tagged her. I felt bad leaving her to her fate. If she survives this then I can butcher her for personal use. Since she's smaller than the others she'd take longer to reach butchering size anyway. I guess she might have had this for a while but is only now expressing symptoms. Hopefully the healthy turkeys stay healthy :fl
If there was any question about it being blackhead before, her runny poop just before I treated her confirms blackhead.
