I would like to raise turkeys, just 3 or 4 and keep them in the same coop with a few chickens. Can I get away with this?

Nope. You need to keep them apart. There is a protozoan disease in all fowl called "black head" that effects the cecae and liver.I t is very detramental to young and developing turkeys. Chickens are naturally more resistant to it, but to help prevent an outbreak in your turkeys don't house them with the chickens.
So you will need to make another area to keep the turkeys in.

Everyone tells you not to, but I have one hen turkey that grew up with chickens. She's even hatched two clutches of chicken eggs. I think it has to do with your region too, but not sure on that. If you want to try it you can, but you are taking the risk. You won't know if you can until you try it.
If I could do it over, I would have raised her by her self(maybe another turkey) because turkeys can be greedy when it comes to eating.

I raised a tom with my 6 chickens with no issues. Yes he was a hog when it was time to feed, but he was best buds with my ameraucana. She would often use him a a shield to hide behind when fleeing my rooster that she did not like. Yes there is blackhead disease, but how many times have you ever heard someone say their turkey died from it? I would do it again if I ever raise another turkey.
