Hello! This is my first year having a mixed flock so just looking for tips and tricks and experiences of anyone who may have raised all these animals together before
I have 13 grown chickens
17 chicks
6 runner ducklings
3 sebastapol goslings
2 turkey baby’s (poults ?)

Some more info about my coop set up:

Coop space will be about 100 sf ,
With three 10 foot roosting bars

run is 500sf but I do plan to free range them most days which I know would help with any potential tensions or fights as each animal will have ample space to roam

I have an automatic chicken door (will geese and turkey fit?)

In regards to feed is it better to have separate areas for them in the run with feeders or feed an all flock feed?

I also heard the ducks and turkey may not want to go into the coop at night should I set up mini coops for them outdoors? Or some sort of tall branches inside the run?

Hi,

I would make the geese, ducks, and turkeys their own home.

Our farmer neighbor had turkeys with geese, ducks, guineas, and chickens. Her turkeys had a "stall" of their own in the barn, the geese had the run of the barn, and the ducks had their own hutch in a separate pen with a pool. The chickens had the coop with the guineas. She has a tree by her coop within the chicken run, and the guineas slept there.

Here, we have silkies and two ducks. The silkies have the coops, the ducks are new and we gave them their own hutch (repurposed doghouse) in a pen so we could lock them up at night.
