My five older hens who follow me whereever I go! (To the point they have to be caged so I can get into the car and leave!) Were outside running around and I could hear them chattering.

Then I heard a knock on the door and being the door is glass, and I didn't see anyone I turned to walk back to the living room. Then there it was again knock, knock, knock in a desperate kind of rushed noise. I thought well it is the neighboors children, who often like to play jokes on me and come over for ice cream. So I thought to myself: hmmmmm. I will swing the door open and scream boo! So I did.

That is when it hit me...ok they hit me...all five girls came rushing in and smacking me in the head. After I came back through I found them in the kitchen eating my bowl of rice.

I would had never thought this possible but it was so funny I just thought I have to share!

I onece had a buff orpington that followed me everywhere! So one summer when i had to paint the shed, she got covered in brown paint because she stayed right below my ladder when i was working. I have never seen a chicken that loved people more than that one.

I had a Silver Spangled Hamburg, "Suzette" who used to follow me everywhere. She thought she was a human.
She hated the wild Quail and would chase them out of the yard.

"Bunny" my sex-link hen is always in the kitchen if you leave the door open. If she sees you outside , she runs full tilt to get to you.

People who don't have chickens, just don't understand
