I took my Polish cockrel Einstein to Petsmart with me. I cant take my dogs they don play well with others and I always wanted to bring a pet with me so Einie went with me. They loved it. Everyone was comming up to see him. I am glad people are finally seeing chickens can be good pets besides egg laying machines.

We took one of our polish, a runner duck, and a pygmy goat to a pet show that the Exchange on our Air Force Base that DH is stationed at. They had little contests for all the pets. It was mostly dogs and some other random household pets. Our little polish took first place for most exotic pet. Some poor girl had brought out all of her fancy parrots and what not, and our chicken beat her out. The pygmy goat took second place. We laughed the whole way home.

I should bring my favorite BLRW, Daphne, to Petsmart. She appears to believe that she has no purpose in life other than sitting on my shoulder and grooming my hair. She'll need a bird diaper, though, as a caecal dropping at the wrong time would rather dampen her appeal as well as my shirt. It'd be a hoot to walk around in the store with a pullet in the cart!
