Chickens are the "in" thing in Orange County, CA

I love it. I live in one of the most pretentious places on Earth, but even here, chickens are becoming the cool thing! I just look at this cover photo and think to myself that this girl is about to get chicken poo on her designer coat.

I ride the train to San Diego for work everyday and my hubby rides to LA. We both brag about our organic, free range eggs we just had for breakfast and people are fascinated. It's quite a conversation starter. It also has allowed us to meet lots of "closet" chicken fans.
