It is below zero weather this week here in Wasilla Alaska and although the chickens are continuing to produce their eggs 12/13 today, some of my eggs are frozen when i get to the coop. I know that I have to make more frequent visits to catch the eggs before they have sat long enuff to freeze, however this is not always gonna be a possibliity. I am mostly afraid that I am gonna walk into a moose and her calf in the dark which is at 5pm now. I am wondering what can you do with a frozen egg? Do they fry, scramble or boil if they have thawed or do they lose their consistency in yolk and white? I don't want to waste a single egg if possible. My chickens are working hard for me in this miserable weather.

I haven't had any crack open when they are fully frozen yet, but I have been able to use my intact frozen eggs the same way as usual after they warm up a bit.
