My chickens ate some buckeyes! What do I need to do I heard that they are highly toxic???

They each ate probably 2-4 bites of buckeye nut.

Buckeyes which are also called horse chestnuts, are poisonous to animals causing nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. Many things can be toxic, but it sometimes depends on how much is eaten. There are some flushes available such as an epsom salts flush and molasses flush that are tood to look up, and give to help flush the poisonous material through the digestive tract. I hope your chicken gets along okay.

It looks like they only ate a small amount. I was told by a friend who also owns chickens to mix electrolytes and whole milk and give it to them. I just want to make sure they will be okay.
