Chickens ate scotts patch and repair

Not really thinking my husband used scotts patch and repair in areas around this house. Of course the chickens were very attracted to it and gobbled it up. They seem to be fine but I'm wondering about us eating their eggs?

if they seem fine I think their eggs will be fine to consume.... I had a hen swallow about 3 foot of twine a couple month ago.... came home and the end was hanging from her mouth... it looked like a clown show pulling (gently) the string out of her mouth
