Chickens behavior strange

Doesn’t sound like it, are the birds dropping their wings at you, circling you with wings dropped, puffing neck feathers or making somewhat growling sounds at you?It doesn’t sound like their challenging you,I usually fix this issue by thumping the bird on the head (only young birds, try this on a grown hen and shes liable to try and gouge your eyes out),I also only do this to an aggressive young bird, usually 3 months and below.

They are all about 3 months now, no puffing or circling just stretching when I'm stooped and looking at me, but I do talk to them a lot when I'm with them in the coop or run....Just surprised when Butterbea jumped at me through the fence today...

Thanks for the input. I think I have discovered her behavior might mean she kinda likes me. I can walk out on the porch and start talking to the girls when they are in their run and Ms. Butterbean will jump at the fence and then stand there and put her foot up on the first 2x4 like she wants out of the pen. They are all stretching their necks up at me when I'm in the pen now so I'm assuming this is normal and typical behavior.
