Chickens - best suited for Vegans

Hi,

I have a few chickens available but they are best suited for vegans. Why Vegans? Its simple . . . vegans don't eat eggs.

These girls are 5 years old and past their prime laying years. I cannot guarantee they will not lay any eggs so if you take them please don't call to complain about the occasional egg. Instead, call a neighbor who will happily take that egg off your hands.

People who own chickens will attest that chickens offer more than just eggs. These hens, who by the way should not be considered geriatric since chickens can live up to 19 years, will not only make awesome pets, they will entertain. Sometimes, I just sit in my house, look out the window and watch the birds scratch around. It's like my own little Chicken TV. In my opinion, chicken TV is the best reality show out there. "Oh the Drama!"

These girls are available to a good home. If you are not vegan that's okay, but if you come over drooling you will quickly be escorted off the farm by our billy goat. Yes his name is Billy just in case you were wondering.

yes, I love this Wellie. I used to raise them but decided to cut back on the # of breeds I raised so I sold my breeders. I kept her as a pet because she is so sweet. If I don't find her a home, she will live her life out here. With over 100 adults, I figured if I could find these lovely aged women a home where they would be spoiled I would be willing to give them away.

I have a hard time giving my roosters away. All my chickens are like pets and I dont want them to go to a home where they will be eaten. I'm trying to figure this out now because I got 2 roosters in a batch of all female.

I had 4 roosters at once, i had to get rid of two. I must had cried all day that day. But my coop is a more friendlier environment for everyone both hens, roosters and our family
