Chickens breast?

Well we have recently had two chicks, there breasts look fine and last year we had six but one grew up and had a large breast which is about 3 centimeters poping out. So I felt for and egg or something in there but there is nothing, whats wrong? Is it bad?

Could it be her crop? Sometimes they get stretched out a bit and when really full it can look that way. It is easy to tell if its really big at night then the next morning its much smaller or gone. Just a guess on my part without a picture to tell.
