Chickens can be such brats!!!!!!!!!

My son just brought in 22 eggs.. Those darn girls were laying in an area that isn’t even 4 inches wide.. They hid them from us... grrrrrrrrrr. I guess I will be doing some adjustments to the inside of the coop.

Sadly I had him throw them out do to not knowing how long they have been there... block off all corners and nooks..

why not do a float test on them? And/or crack them open individually and make something with the good ones?

I agree on throwing them out, no reason to risk your health. Also float test only gives you an idea how old the egg is, not if it's edible.

With only 13 layers and we have been getting 6 to 8 eggs a day. Some of them have been there a while

Yep they are such brats, it’s only a couple of them. That are doing it. My son normally checks the eggs he forget to check other places within the coop.. guess I will have to double check until I can get this cubby hole fixed.. lol.
