What breeds of chickens are big enough and tough enough to stand up to a few cats, maybe a nasty rooster?

Most standard size chickens will be able to stand up to a cat(s). I have about 9 outdoor cats and it is nothing to see one of the cats highttailing it around the corner of the house with an old hen in hot pursuit! They have "faceoffs" and guess who always wins? the chicken, of course.

Now super wild feral cats might be a different story though...
