I found a hatchery that is only 2 and a half hours away from me!!! So exciting!!! Ordering the chicks would be okay, right??? This hatchery has almost every kind of chicken you can think of!!! What kind of chickens are good egg layers, very friendly, and do well in cold weather??? I REALLY want Brahmas. Are they good egg layers??? I don't know, I just LOOOOVE them!!! Thanks!!!

Congrats on the find! Brahmas are a good winter layer on medium sized eggs. I just got some little Brahma babies on Saturday. They are all so cute and friendly.

Thanks!!! Oh, good!!! I really like Brahmas, I think they will be a good fit for me!!! I see you like Wyandottes... Do you think Brahmas and Wyandottes will get along??? Are Wyandottes good egg layers??? And cold hardy??? Thanks!!!

I love my Wyandottes. They are great layers and are very cold hardy. My girls are very friendly and I think Brahmas and Wyandottes would get along great!
