🐣 Trouble in the Brooder! What Would You Do?

Dat's prettty good though. Which ones did you miss?
#4, I had B, I didn't choose D as I did not know what Blu Kote is and did not check it before my answer. I would do B first, then possibly A, if the chick persisted, while I looked up Blu Kote. 😂

#7, I had no idea. I would have checked for pasty butt, which I do on a regular basis. Swollen belly, I have not seen this, thank God but good to learn.

You're still a Brooder Boss! :highfive:

I thank you but I am no Brooder Boss. What I have learned in the last 2.5 years is from this site and experience, in that order. You are a help, dear one.
Oh! Thank you! My experience is very limited, I'm afraid, but I'm happy to share it. I always help as much as I can but when I get out of my depth, I know to yelp for help and call on an Educator. Aren't they amazing?

Funny thing is I know all the right answers so yay perfect score, but the reality of what I would actually do is something different. :) Like "You hear constant loud peeping from the brooder. What do you do first?", in reality I just ignore it lol. Because they do peep a lot and I know the set up is fine, they're just making noise.

Or "The brooder is drafty and temps fluctuate. What’s a solution?", it's not actually a problem depending on the set up. My temps fluctuate as much as 30 degrees and both long walls are mostly open ventilation but the chicks have areas to move to to get out of the breeze if they choose. But "trust the chicks to move to a warm protected spot as needed" wasn't an option. :)

8/10! Missed 4 because I put all of the above. @User690263 knows that it’s the real choose!! Girl i was thinking the same way lol 😂 and put option E for last one because I made my own answer 😌
My funniest brooder moment os probably when I got my first chicks back in 2020 and was worried why none of my chicks were going pee
