I checked my trail cam this week and saw an animal on it that I wasn’t sure exactly what it was. Does anyone have any ideas? Coyote, wolf or dog? Thanks

Too small for a wolf. Ears are too short and shoulders too built up for a coyote. It's too healthy-looking to be a stray dog fending for itself. I'd say that's either a half-breed coy-dog or someone needs to keep their husky or shepherd mix in at night!I checked my trail cam this week and saw an animal on it that I wasn’t sure exactly what it was. After looking at my own trail cam coyote/coywolf footage, I change my mind and agree with you. Coyotes have shorter fur (even in winter) and pretty distinctive long narrow snouts too.Too small for a wolf. Ears are too short and shoulders too built up for a coyote.
