If you're on the Index page there is a list of topic areas. Each topic area, once opened, will have a "sticky" at the top of the list of threads active. A sticky usually is locked and can't be posted in. It's purpose it to give guidance to that particular topic, helpful links to common answers to questions, etc. I also recommend browsing the Frequently Asked Questions topics.
Really sorry to hear you are losing so many hens, my first thought was parasites, internal or external. Given that you all have thoroughly checked for that, I'm out of ideas.
