Chickens drinking a lot of water

I read here that someone was having a problem with chickens drinking a lot of water.Heres an old school method,give Pepto Bismo and put a little Clorox in there water,about 2capfulls in 1 gallon of water,this should knock it out right away.

Hi there,
I'm curious - what does this 'remedy' cure?? In my experience, chickens drink water as and when they need. To try and decrease the intake probably ignores the reason behind the excessive drinking........just my opinion.

friend this remedy is for excessive water in take due to illness .This remedy will work on certain ailments.
