Chickens eating Styrofoam

What do I do when my chickens eat Styrofoam? I found out that my chickens were eating Styrofoam when I found a huge plate and it had a half missing. Do I do anything?

It shouldn't harm them. We give our younger chickens (6 weeks and older) styrofoam to stop feather picking. Never had a problem with them getting sick, they just poop it out.

My girls will do almost anything to get ahold of a Styrofoam plate.I have no idea what the attraction is but thank heavens they seem fine. I have found a chewed plate in the yard and have been chased!! Maybe we could have chicken races like greyhounds using plates
