Chickens Eating Termites?

I don't have chickens yet but am planning on in the future. I am wondering, since chickens eat bugs, can they eat termites? Termites can pop up anywhere there is wood and I would rather use my chickens if possible to get rid of them. Thanks.

Chickens love termites but if you have a whole colony, pesticides may be needed. In that case, refrain the flock from access to the afflicted area.
