Can my hens eat a placenta?

So my sister recently gave birth, and she has her placenta in her freezer. Now, she doesn't want to eat it (some people do eat theirs post-partum, believe it or not), but she also doesn't want to waste it, as it is very dense in nutritional value, so she was wondering if my 9 hens would eat it. Can chickens eat human placenta? Will they? I assume its fine, since they eat pretty much all animal organs/meat. Has anyone done this?

After ensuring she took no medications during pregnancy, we went ahead and let the chickens feast. They loved it, and definitely got their iron in for the day! XD

We were castrating calves at a place with hundreds of free range chickens, the crazy birds would go nuts trying to eat a potato size Rocky Mountain oyster! I’m just glad they aren’t bigger or they’d be eating us! Micro velociraptors…
