24% isn't too bad. In fact, some plain starters for chicks have 21-22%, so you should be fine. Just get some regular % chick starter/grower and mix it in later on. Most gamebird feeds have animal protein still in there and to me, that's a good thing. The downside is that the poop seems to smell a little worse with it, LOL.
