Chickens fighting

I added 4 Americana chicks at 2 weeks old to my little flock. Everything has been great but now that they are almost 3 months old the Americans are fighting each other a lot!

My roosters were brothers, raised together, and they started fighting at three weeks. Thankfully, they've settled a bit now. The hens will also do this, but much less so.

I wouldn't worry. They're probably under a pound, so they don't have the weight or the spurs to be able to injure each other very much. They're just sorting out the pecking order.

I have a couple buffs and Dominique(older) and they've never done this. But those 4 just keep doing it. They're tearing each others faces up!

Welcome to BYC.....sorry you are having troubles.
Is it possible that all 4 are males?
Can you post pics of the birds?

Some will continue to fight. Sometimes until death, and it is rather ugly. That is where I think you are headed. I don't think they will quit fighting if you put them in bachelors quarters, but they might if out of sight and sound of the hen flock.

If you do have all four roosters, you need to make plans anyway, as that is too many roosters for your laying flock. All that fighting and soon all the mating will drastically reduce your egg production. This much testosterone causes very high tension in the flock.

I always solve for the flock, and culling these boys is most likely what is needed.
