Chickens first egg

My two silver laced wyandott' are almost 23 weeks old and still haven't laid any eggs does anyone have an idea why

I only have one Silver Laced Wyandotte and she has not started laying yet. But I found this link that might help.

Should I still put a white egg in if none of my chickens lay white eggs?

Yes, that will be fine.....I use white fake eggs and white golf balls, works good and none of mine lay white either.

I bought white ceramic eggs so I could easily tell the fakes, I have no white egg layers. I heard of people who tried to crack a ceramic egg. Calorie free they are. GC

Typical.....not all birds lay everyday, most don't except high production breeds and even then they may start out slow.
