Thought I would share some of our snow pictures with everyone. We had 16 1/2 inches total I think. All the girls made it through just fine. I found this red waterer for outside the coop and it is working great. Now they have water inside and out that won't freeze. I'm using the cookie tin heater inside with the plastic waterer.

This is Mom checking in on the girls. Their little coop is surrounded by snow. I dug out a small space for them but they wouldn't come out until I lined it with nice hay and had a bowl of warm oatmeal for them. They couldn't resist, but still wanted to know what I did with the green grass they were eating the day before.

This is Mr. Gray, he's called a meeting to discuss the weather conditions with the girls. Notice, he has his bedroom slippers on.

The girls are looking for some bugs, none to be found yet.

This is my garden shed, chicken coop is tucked behind it closer to the woods.

Buffy here, all cozy with her many feathers.

BTW, what's up with Lucy. I call her my freeloader. No eggs yet and her sisters have been laying for a couple months.
