Nicely said !! Let those tidbits flow there is real knowledge that many could benefit from .

We "massage" most everything we say on here, being sensitive in this new era and all. LOL. If we talked straight like we did back in the day, you're gonna get us all in trouble. lau

I can't speak for all of us who are still trying to scratch the green from behind our ears, but I appreciate the folks on BYC who give it to us straight.

I won't name any names, but there are some characters here who may put things a little "gruffly", but who I PRAY will weigh in with some straight up, hard nosed, no-nonsense management ideas. P.C. is for folks whose hobbies DON'T potentially include beheading a named critter in the side yard on a sunny Sunday.

I'm going to subscribe, no need to "massage" this gal - except maybe my shoulders. I raked a whole bunch of hay all over the yards today & my back is burning.

Thanks Bee, great topic!

Now then, I'd like to ask folks to be respectful of one another when the methods of husbandry aren't the same....naturally this is going to happen.

It helps~and I will try to remember this tip myself~to phrase things with the preface of "In my experience", or IME, when debating a certain point. Please read carefully for these qualifiers before responding because they make a world of difference in the intent of the poster.

Also? One method is not better than another, it is just what works for you and may just work for others~or not...they can take it or leave it.

Now....let the collective knowledge flow and let those who care to drink~drink!

***** Also? There really is no such thing as hi-jacking when it comes to these round table type discussions...feel free to amble through your memories, jog down a side road and come back at your leisure~I love a good jacking of the jaw on the front porch! *****

Man Bee, do you know what time it is? Gettin' nigh on my bedtime.

c'mon, Fred -- stay up a bit with us!

ETA: I vote that Fred can't go to roost until he's dropped at least a pearl or two of wis-bang on us. And I second my own motion.
