stonykill i am so sorry for not mentioning you in my earlier post. i know how sensitive you are and did not mean to ruffle feathers. i will be going to confession and doing a full repentence . my deepest regrets.

ok all i have had fun but i got to go sit with the flock. i don;t want to be paying for a chicken whisper to come later on and tell me the chickens have abandament issues

Hmmm... maybe vinyl flooring with a layer of Sweet PDZ or DE?

(btw -- in another thread, somebody recommended "food grade Sweet PDZ"...)

I guess disposable diapers would only be good enough for hatchery birds.

Getting there on the book....busy sewing diapers for Al, Walt and now for Bruce. I think if they are going to start diapering their chickens they need to learn how to sew, don't you?

Now I have this darn emu order and I can't keep up with it all......

I am far more technically advanced than those two. I use the sling thing that goes under the WHOLE roost........catches it all! Wonderful invention..but I was a little concerned in the beginning cuz I was told here that the closer the chicken poo is to your head, the more dangerous it becomes. But as I always post ...you can't believe everything you read...if I didn't have common sense, I would still be using diapers like those two guys.
