Chickens in red long underwear with the flaps that unbutton in the back....for pooping and roo access. I can just picture it now....Poultry Pajamas.

Or even...the Silkie Snuggy.

Or the BO Blizzard Buster

Or the Cochin Coat

I served as a guard there in 1974 for 1 yr, it was one of my best tours of duty in over 25 yrs of service, it was truely remarkable, to do something that meant so much to so many people as a show of respect and a countries admiration.

Great pic and great post, thanks for sharing it brought back some good memory's for an Ole soldier like me.
You never cease to amaze me Al.

Thank You

OT, but something I think the OT's here and any else with common sense will scratch their heads at.

I needed to order an item, found it online from Home Depot for $34 with $7.50 shipping. However, their website told me that if I spend $45 I'd get free shipping. So, I figured it made sense to spend $3 extra to get $10 worth of stuff I need anyway. I added on a 3 foot length of threaded stainless rod and a box of screws. Total cost $45.69 plus tax.

First UPS delivered the stainless rod in a 3' long x 6" x 6" box, shipped from Atlanta. Then two days later UPS delivered the box of screws, shipped from Tuscon. The final item is due for delivery today, shipped from Maryland.

Even at a massive discount on shipping that they must have negotiated with UPS, they have to be losing real money on this. I guess the concept is to lose money on every transaction and make it up on volume? (at retail consumer costs, that would have been at least a $25 or $30 UPS shipping bill)

Or maybe I just don't understand business.
