I guess you are! Any wins you want to tell us about? See any birds you were droolin'?

Champion American.
:New Hamp p.
Best and Res Goose: Egyptians
Best and Res bantam duck: East Indies.
Res Aoccl: Dark Cornish h.
Best and Res duck
Champion and res Champ Waterfowl. Indie/Egyptian.

We did well. The New Hamp win was the best. This pullet is only 7 months old and was one of 10 that came from kathyinmo in a round about way. They were free..and that is always good. A neighbor ordered chicks from Kathy and had to get rid of some, so I took them thinking "I could clean these up and scare some people in the American class". They are good heritage birds. The females grew very quickly and look like adults at 4-5 months old. They lay very quickly...5 months. The males will take longer to develop though. At 7 months they are 9 lbs, but still look like teenage boys.......long and skinny. I am guessing that at a year they will be 12 lbs or so. They lay very well, but I haven't had them long enough to see how they perform over the long haul.

they are much brighter in the sunlight. The showroom lighting just kills the color. They are as wild as a March hare when free ranging, so I thought I would have to do a lot of show coop training, but that only took less than a minute. I have gotten to really enjoy these birds. One of the things I really like about them is that none of them have flat front ends. Many large fowl have flat lower chests, but none of these do and again it was a random selection.

They are very pretty in the sun.

The young show groupies really like Al, so he can't be all that bad.
