I'm considering getting chicks from CFB, any tips? What was your DOA amount and did they include extra chicks? If they did, where the chicks the same breeds you bought, and we're they straight run, or pullets?

Thanks!

I recently ordered my chickens from CFB and was very happy! Since I am just starting I didn’t want to order the larger quantities required by other hatcheries. I ordered 6 pullets and received 8. Being a newbie I was hesitant to open that box at the post office but.....all chicks were healthy and strong and to my surprise I had two extra! Within 15 minutes of being home in brooder all were eating and drinking fine and quickly learned to go under heat plate. They are now almost two weeks old and growing like weeds. I’ve already recommended CFB to my sister in law.
