Ive seen this hatchery called "chickens for backyards" and they seem to be a pretty new place because ive never heard of them until recently.

I was thinking of ordering their bantam special of 5 silkies until I saw the price... $49

This includes shipping so i dont know, maybe its not that bad, but it still seems expensive.
Out of curiosity, has anyone had any experience with this hatchery?

Wow, I just checked out the website to see and looked like they are crazy high on everything!

I don't think they are a hatchery; I think they buy and re-sell chicks. The prices are a lot higher than other places, and there is no "about us" section on the website. They nowhere claim to be a hatchery or talk about their birds other than shipping procedures. Very weird.

Ive noticed they have an "add a rooster option"
Most of the pullets cost 3.75 or less and then the roosters all cost 3.95

Im also used to geese costing around $10 each but on this site it cost $59 for 2 (including shipping)
