Chickens has poop all over vent and feet!!!! NEED HELP

hi, my porcelain d uccle roo has poop on his feet and hanging off his vent . So in a nutshell he has dingleberries. Should I cut off the feather the poop is on? should I soak his feet in warm water to loosen it up? I need help fast!

Sounds like what chicks get sometimes, pasty butt. I would just take a wet rag with warm water and soak it on his rear and feet, once the poop is wet it should crumble off.
