Out of my 40 or so chickens, 3 now have paralysis of their legs. I have them all together separated with food and water so they can reach. That is their only symptom, they are still eating plenty for now, haven't really monitored their poop since this all just happened but will check tomorrow. I have a few questions about Marek's...
So my chickens with paralysis, there's no way they will get better? I would much rather cull if they are just gonna suffer.
So Marek's I assume is now everywhere in my yard and all my chickens are at risk or could already have it and not being showing symptoms just yet? So could they start showing symptoms at any time? Even months from now??
I have a pair of young silkies in an above ground pen a few feet off the ground, could this mean they don't have it since they are off the ground?
This is awful!!! Really the icing on the cake to all the problems I have had with chickens in the 1 year I have been keeping them. They just got over coccidosis which I lost about 5 or 6 birds to..
