How small are bantam cochins/pekins

Here is one of my youngest at not quite a week old. About 40 grams weight. They usually grow to an adult weight of about 1 to 1.5 pounds for hens and 1.5 to 2 pounds for roosters.

Mine are from Meyer Hatchery, and the females are about 2lbs at 23 weeks old. I've heard they'll fill out over the next year as well. About the size of a soccer ball when they're all fluffed out. Very small and adorable!

ok im so excited ive wanted bantam cochins for SO long. as of right now standard splash cochins are my favorite breed of chicken ever. but that might change

They're pretty small. This is one of mine, Spicy Boots (just over 1 yr old), standing by some standard size hens. She looks a bit taller than usual because she's got her neck outstretched, but they're definitely the smallest of my bunch (except for Dinky in the bottom right corner - she's the tiniest of the tiny):

And as a chick:

What age do you think your bantams reached their adult size? My first group is only 6 weeks, and they're mostly feathered, but still not really bigger than a large pigeon, lol. I was curious if it was around 20 weeks that they're about done growing or longer than that.

If I'm remembering correctly, I think they were pretty much done growing by about 25 weeks or so. They've stayed about the same since they started laying (they may have gotten a little plumper, but not bigger in height). It's so fun to watch them waddle around the chicken yard! ☺️

I crack up at mine, acting like full grown chickens, racing around the run after bugs and such. But some of the songbirds flying overhead are bigger than they are.
