As @chrissysue just said above, she was probably culled due to her tumor. I am very sorry for your loss, I was lucky as one of my chickens had a tumor that grew on her crop. After I had just noticed it it was pretty large, I let her live all the life she had and lived a happy life of 2 more years after I found the tumor. I hope your girl and my past chickens are living a good life past the rainbow bridge!
