Chickens help children with autism and Aspergers.

I just read your article with great interest. It's interesting that it is the jerky movement which first engages someone, not an intellectual or word-based introduction. I might get back to my harnessing idea and explore the topic further. Thank you so much for opening up a new path of thought for me. (I'm interested in clicker training for horses because it too is not word based - so directly understood.)

I have a 5 year old son with autism, and I would really love to get a few chickens. I'm holding out for the coop that I really want, but if I find a way to swing it, we're in.
