Chickens in Alabama

Not sure where to look or who might have some in our area.

I didn't get to go either, but you just missed a big poultry swap Saturday at someone's farm in Childersburg.

I know. I was out of town and we could not get there. My 10 year old was looking forward to getting some chickens for her birthday.

if you can, pick up a copy of the traders helper. they have adds for pets and livestock. also, you might try the millerville livestock auction, it is close to ashland and lineville. they sell poultry. if i think of anyother places i will post them . good luck:yiipchick

Coosa Valley Feed in Wilsonville has had chickens the last few times I was there. They will be getting baby chicks as soon as the weather warms.

There are a bunch of people in the area that have chicks. Also the feed stores are all getting them in now. Just post what you might be looking for.
