Chickens in Alvin, TX

Hello to all! I just stumbled across this wonderful forum! I have always wanted chickens, but living in the suburbs it has been against my HOA. I have just sold my house and am thinking about moving back to Alvin (where I grew up). Does anyone know whether chickens are allowed in the city limits or will I need to live in the county? Any info would be very much appreciated!

zoning laws vary by city, state, county etc. You would have to check an area before you decide to move there.

I don't know if you are still following this thread. Anyway, google Municode library. Alvin is listed you can look up Alvin's ordinance there. I live in liverpool right outside of Alvin. Good luck
