Chickens in Movies Database

How about Mad City Chickens? Also, there was a Teletubbies episode that had a little movie about chickens called Feeding the Chickens.

2012 had a chicken that the grandma was butchering before they went to the ships.

Sopranos had an episode where he had to raise the rent for the chicken business in NJ.

How about the 2010 movie The Book of Eli with Denzel Washington. There's a couple of cages of chickens, two look like some kind of red sex-link. Who knew chickens were hardy enough to survive a nuclear apocalypse.

I don't see the 1986 movie Highlander. There are chickens in the Highland village market scene. I've seen that movie at least 25 times but never closely looked at the chickens till my chicken disease came on.

Also, I recall chickens in an episode of Firefly but can't remember which one. Since there are sadly only 13 episodes it ought to be easy to figure out.

I guess I'm a sci-fi geek.

I just watched "The Conjuring" a couple of nights ago because I LOVE horror films and I was tickled pink to see (even if it was brief) a white silkie in the film!

I mentioned this in another thread, but I don't want you to miss it here either:
The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas has chickens, the place in the title is nicknamed "The Chicken Ranch" as that was once the cover for the business. It mentions that during the depression the girls would sometimes accept chickens as payment for services rendered. There is one scene showing a whole field of white leghorns.
