Hi all, How many chickens do you recommend putting in a 10X8' coop to keep them healthy? The run that is going with the coop is 15X80.

Thanks

The general rule of thumb is 4 sq. ft. per standard bird. Twice that for their run.
You can get away with less space if you allow free-ranging.

Your coop is big enough for 20 standard chickens - your run is big enough for 120 chickens.

You have such a large chicken run - if you want more than 20 chickens you can add another coop to the other end of your run or put it inside the run.

Your setup sounds great. Please post some pics.
