Chickens in the high desert

Hi and welcome. New member here, too.

I get it with the complaining chicks. I don't think I could ever eat one of my chickens, but I can get pretty annoyed at my Blue Fauvacana, Jasmine. She is six weeks old and chirps constantly. Everything must be chirped at. But I also find her to be engaging and hilarious. Watching her run from the older chicks can be entertaining. They will chase her into the small coop, and while they are looking for her, she exits out the other door.

Hopefully you can find something fun and entertaining with Chris. And she will be providing you with some colorful eggs!

Haha she better lay some pretty eggs!
I joke about eating her but my animal loving daughter would never forgive me 😆 luckily she is a gorgeous bird so at least she’s nice to look at. Maybe she’ll relax a bit when she starts laying.
