I went out to feed this morning and 2 of my hens were in the nest box. the box has been there for about 3 weeks with plastic eggs in it. I have noticed the eggs moved around some but this morning 2 hens were in the box plastic eggs pushed to the side. When I opened the door they took a second but jumped out. Are they practicing ?

Yes, they are checking things out. Mine sat in the nests for about a week or two before we got the first eggs.

    Your eggs are coming!!!!!!!
