maybe they are looking for worms/bugs? Yesterday for the first time I saw one of my chickens in the poop bucket scratching around. When I scoop I put the poop in a bucket & leave it in the pen until its about half full & then carry it to the compost pile. I guess Im lazy & dont want to carry the bucket out daily. The fly problem is not bad in the pen or the bucket but im wandering all of a sudden why they discovered the bucket & are getting in it? Any ideas/concerns?
