Yep, we've had chickens for years now and over the past 4 years we have only lost 5 chickens to predators. Our flock is 14 chickens at the moment.

Honestly, if we kept them in the coop and fortified run, we would have not lost any, but we let them free range and the hawks occasionally grab one.
