Chickens in Virginia Beach

Does anyone know what the law is in Virginia Beach concerning chickens? The latest thread I could find here was they were trying to change the law, that was in 2012.

There is an upcoming town hall meeting that will be hosted by Jessica abbot - who is pro-backyard chickens

This could be a fantastic opportunity to bring up the subject and have it reconsidered

Based on what I could find on the Virginia Beach government page, it seems as though currently chickens are allowed in areas zoned as agricultural but not in areas zoned as residential.
