I kind of ****** off the mayor in the last election and think they wont be so accommodating. I'm thinking of just getting a few and taking my chances...

Glad to have you join us! I am going through the same situation at the moment. We will most likely be moving into city limits this winter, and we are NOT allowed to have chickens. I have tried emailing the mayor and everything, and can't get them to even consider letting me take a few of my girls. I hope you are able to have some chickens without problems!
